BIG hdmi cable cross-examine?

i want to get an hdmi cable for my ps3 and ive see them very vastly cheap online.. amazon have some that are 2.99 and 5.00 so i go to target yesterday and saw that all of target hdmi cables be so expensive. the least expensive one be 34.99 so i asked the guy who worked there and he said target have cheap hdmi cables compared to other stores and i told him nearly the prices online at amazon and he said he has never hear of an hdmi cable cheaper than 30.00 so i later go to gamestop and asked the other person who worked here the sae exact question and he said the cheapest hdmi cable he's ever see was 29.99


Answers:    That simply proves the ignorance of the average member of staff in a big box store.

There are differences contained by HDMI cables that can support higher prices (personally I'd be evasive of a $3 HDMI cable), but Monster and other that charge $150+ for what can be purchased for $30 for an excellent cable and $5-10 for a budget version are simply playing on consumer ignorance and big box store greed.
