My television is an LG flatron M228WA and is said to be HD in position it does not appear to have a HDMI port. I want to use it with a Playstation 3 is it possible to purchase the HD picture by another means save for a HDMI cable connecting the PS3 to the tv.
Answers: You will have to use a set of component cable (these have five connections red green blue a second red and a white.) do not use the red washed out and white composite cable as this will not carry HD
Yeah, use a component cable (three small circular connections of red, white and yellow) your tv definately should use that. That nouns will produce a hd picture on your telly from your PS3. The component cable is not included with the PS3 so you'll own to buy it seperately. Good luck!
