My friend has Freesat but has just checked other channnels and found she is able to view other channels?

that you have to pay for. Does anyone know why is this. She has only just discovered this. Will it go off any time soon?

Answer:
sometimes there are free offers where u can view pay channels for a certain period of time.. to try and get u to pay for them! is it this?
sounds like you shouldnt be talking about this before you ruin something good :)
THere are three posibilities,
first is maby she does pay for them
second is maby the satelite people made a mistake
thirds is most likely a trial period and it will rpobably end soon
not all channels are blocked only some have that on but alot of people are unaware of this and go and pay for it it may go off if this knowledge gets out and becomes popular and the channels decide to encode themselves
Could be a promotion but if you are geting ppv channels then someone hacked the sim card. I did this to my sat but its a game between hacker and company... they stopped it once, can they again? we'll find out...
