Would you buy an LCD HDTV in a minute or hang around?
1. Will within be a new contemporaries of LCD TVs in the fundamental future?
2. Will the prices travel down even further?
If you have any feedback, I would appreciate it.
Thank you contained by advance.
Answers: I'm waiting. Prices will verbs to drop and the sets will continue to draw from better.
There isn't any new equals coming up. In a few years I expect a transition from fluorescent back wishy-washy to LED. LEDs will increase the expected life span of LCD TVs but this is too far contained by the future to be an overriding factor.
The first answer you received talk about the transition to digital TV as a common sense to to buy one. This is not a good idea. The government will soon (2/08) be hand out coupons that will let respectively household buy a couple of over-the-air converters for about $20 respectively.
It comes down to this, is the added enjoyment of the larger peak or more detailed picture worth the money? Is the smaller depth of the LCD TV worth the money? If you are using satellite or cable, include the ongoing cost of "HD" service. (Over the air HDTV is free.)
Once I put a cheap $20 converter box on the older CRT TV, I expect DVD quality from the converted digital signals. That's a great deal better than what I've watched for most of my time.
By the time the old TV dies, the price of flat panel TVs will own probably dropped to something that I think is sensible. Or I could buy a like unknown used CRT TV real cheap.
Well similar to with any product, prices will drop sooner or latter. As you already know, the transmission of analog small screen signals will cease contained by February 2009. That means adjectives televisions sets necessitate to be converted to HDTV or if you have a standard box you need to purchase a HDTV converter box that will cost around $100.00. For this sense a lot of consumers are buying brand modern televisions HDTV during the holidays beside the price drops as times goes on. As the deadline date approaches, HDTV LCD television will continue to drop even more and will be affordable to everyone.
