TV is broken and how much might it cost?
Answers: Hi, I'm an electronics Tech here surrounded by Dallas TX and I can tell you that lately by knowing what you described it will be very sturdy to tell the overexploit and cost of the repair...
I advise you to look for a repair shop surrounded by your area and hold them check your TV (maybe a second opinion would really back if they tell you it will be intensely expensive to repair), some times is just minor disfavour when a TV does not turn "on" but other times it can be very expensive to repair..If you are brave satisfactory try this:
First make sure your TV is unplugged and next open the put a bet on cover find the fuse or fuses and if they look burnt capture an exact replacement (usually under $10 @ Radio Shack) if after you replace it and plug the TV fund on and you could see it working again well later congrats, if it blows the fuse again this means there's an internal short and it requirements repair... at this point I strongly recommend you to get a Tech to check your TV.
Cheers,
Elliott
P.S regardless of the results don't forget to put the subsidise cover back within your TV and I hope you are not short or have screw left over...
