If you have a blurry image on LCD, something isn't right.
PC CRT monitors have a much better definition than HDTVs... get a large monitor and use that for watching DVDs etc...
If you image on your LCD is blurry the input signal is probably not hig def. LCDs shouldnt be blurry.
There are CRT HDTVs, but for a good one you would spend maybe $8000 and it's still not as sharp as an LCD screen. If an LCD screen is blurry it's because you're trying to show HD programming on a standard definition screen (or vice versa) or you're using an analog cable or something like that.
— Or it's because you have an extra-large screen. All TV, even HD, looks blurry when you make it really large because TV just doesn't have the high resolution of a computer screen. The only fix for that, if it bothers you, is to get a smaller screen.
If you can afford it Plasma is currently the best method for displaying HDTV on a large screen. Large screen LCD's can show up some of the weaknesses of LCD, as you have found out with the blurring of quickly moving images.

Yes, you can also get CRT HDTV.
Yes samsung do one but there seems to be problems with these sets, but as for the blurry image is it when there is movement? if so all LCDs do this as they liquid crystals that make up the picture cant keep up with the image on screen thus creating a blurry image eg when watching sport, fast action movies and such like. Plasmas are the best screens to have as they don't do this.
A common problem with cheaper HDTVs being used for non HDTV signals. Not a CRT vs LCD problem. Get a better quality (e.g. Samsung or LG)
you can buy a crt hdtv from best buy for $700 50 inch
Right now, you can get one of these old style tube tv's in high definition, yes. Not in 1080p, mind you, but I have a sanyo that is HD, and working at sears, I know we sell a 34in widescreen sony, 30in widescreen samsung, and a 27in 4:3 (square) RCA, all in high definition.

Also, there is a new technology that hasn't come out yet that will take the technology of CRT tv's and make it into flat screen, a format that seems to have the potential to surpass both plasma and lcd. it is called SED, which stands for Surface-conduction Electron-emitter Display. More information can be found on it here, though dont know when t his might come out:

believe or not, sanyo makes a 30 hdtv, with the dig. tuner and pulls the high def right off the cable... reasonable also
