What cables do i need if i have a ps3 and sanyo lcd tv to make the picture quality better?

Answer:
Well.

The most "direct" cable is actually the COMPONENT cable..

The HDMI cable, while more expensive, goes into the TV, then GETS CONVERTED BACK TO COMPONENT SIGNAL!

Why pay for HDMI? The component cable costs less and performs the same level of picture quality as HDMI does.

This is what I see by looking at the ACTUAL schematics on the TVs I service !
If you have HDMI, use it. If not, use Component Video (Red,Green,Blue).

HDMI does provide a better picture, more sharper, vivid, dark are darker, colors are more true.

There is a noticeable differece in HDMI than Component and Defientaly worth the $.
