I am currently having problems receiving a good picture on my new LCD TV.?
Thanks in advance
Answer:
Cables don't fix this problem.in fact, Monster brand cables do not improve any picture for the short length that most people use.
THE PROBLEM is you have a HIGH DEFINITION TV, built for HIGH DEFINITION SIGNALS, and right now about 95% of your signals are all LOW DEFINITION!!
Those Low Def signals will be around for just a few more years..but the LOW def TV recordings will be around a lot longer, and there's no way to convert them to HI Def.
And believe me.who doesn't enjoy the finale of a 25 year old Benny Hill Show? Or how about Monty Python? I still laugh.
Anyways, if you can get HD programming, go for it...you'll see why you bought that TV in the first place. I really doubt you have HD programming yet, because most of my customers wonder why "Standard" channels on Satellite look pretty poor too..
And who knows, maybe the Monty Python/Benny Hill skits will be redone by different actors 20 years from now..
gold tip cables offer hd quality they can cost ya $$ but they are worth ir..plus get an hd receiver if u dont have one.
Try a Super Video Cable connecter, check all your connections and set up on the controls itself.
The reception on my LCD TV was also pretty poor. However, I bought a signal amplifier (inexpensive) and now all is O.K.
have you tried turning it on? Gold end scart cables are supposed to be best
No - cables will not fix your problem.
1) Terrestrial transmission can be improved by a good quality aerial and/or amplification
2) satellite transmission will be improved by investing in a HD receiver.
Everyone expects an HD TV to give HD quality no matter what it receives - but unfortunately it doesn't.
That's why most people are waiting fr the HD content to be increased and improved.
Your TV is Optimized for HD but they give you a bit of backwards compatibility.
