Answers: I would never purchase anything from Sony. Sony is no where on earth near what it used to be. Their products are over priced and hold out less than their competitors. The technology they develop fade away quickly, and even they drop their own technology. I would walk with the Samsung; however, I chew over anything from Panasonic would be best. Good luck.
not to confuse you more, but at hand was a pretty cool 40 inch polaroid at walmart for $846.00. you might want to move about check it out before decide.
Without a doubt, you need to be in motion for Sony. Just walk upto a showroom and compare the two and you'll why you can never buy a Samsung TV once you've see a Sony.

NUMBER TWO SONY.....
Number one Sony is subsequent...it has LESS HDMI connectors, but that's what made the verdict over the other.
Do not buy anything from Sony as they are crooked.
Also be aware that LCD TVs screens are severely very fragile.
