42" LCD Sharp Aquos LC42D62U or the LC42D64U for $200 more?

So I was put contained by a bit of a bind when my trusty 36" Sony Trinitron tube decided to burn out the other morning. Fortunately, there are a couple of days vanished in the boxing week sale for me to find an affordable replacement. Maybe I acted rashly, but I snapped up the 42" Sharp Aquos LC42D62U for $1299 at FS as it was a door crasher price. When I get home, however, I did a bit more research and realized for $200 more I could own ordered the newer LC42D64U ($1499).

Now I know they're very similar television, but the little things like a difference of 2ms, extra HDMI port and true contrast resolution alteration from 1,200:1 to 2,000:1 have be nagging me, but is this $200 difference justified?

So today is the ultimate day of the Dutch auction. My Sharp won't arrive from the warehouse for a few days, so should I keep it on proclaim, or spend $200 more for the newer LC4264U model? any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Answers:    I would spend the extra $200. The faster response rate will be all right worth the price. The newer model also weighs smaller quantity and the cabinet (back) is smaller as well. The newer model also costs smaller quantity to operate. Spend the extra cash for the newer technology.

Estimated Cost per Month (Crutchfield-tested) $3.72
I agree next to the first respondent. The 2ms spec + the superir contrast ratio are well worth the extra $200. The extra HDMI input may or may not be an issue. This, logically depends on your setup.
