Which of the following 2 tv's should i get.. i can get a great deal on both and they are the same price..?

The second one is bigger then the first one.. i can still get them at the same price... some of the things im wondering about is the whole auto formatting to the screen.. dont really know what it means... am wondering if when i watch tv there will be black bars on the right side.. i have digital cable... jus which one is the better tv at the same price ...

philips sounds better, but you can check on cnet.com for professional reviews and technical stuff.
Both are unrelaible and have high failure rates. Both are made by the same company which has no parts or support for their product.

Auto Formatting is when say a commercial comes on in 4:3, you normally would see bars on the side, but the tv figures it out and stretches it for you, then once a widescreen program comes back on it will adjust automatically so that you wont get the bars.

If I where you, I would stay away from all Samsung,Phillips/Magnavox,walm... tvs, Insignia,Orion,..

Stick with name brand because they have the best support and the most reliable.

Sony ,Toshiba (Also makes the 2nd best plasma) Mitsubishi Pioneer (Best Plasma),Hitachi ,Panasonic,LG (3rd best)
