Answers: The switchover from analog to digital will only affect ethnic group who are using an antenna to receive TV channels. If you're using cable or satellite, your TV will still verbs to work as-is.
The switchover has NOTHING to do near HDTV, even though all HDTVs already contain the digital tuner. In reality, all TVs over 25" surrounded by size since 2000 already contain the new tuner.
Even if your TV doesn't own the new tuner already, you'll know how to buy a new tuner box for just about $20 starting next year.
HDTV is a totally different topic. Basically, it provides you near a much higher resolution picture, providing you next to a sharper, more detailed picture than what a standard TV provides. Right now, in attendance aren't that many channel available in HD. National broadcast channel, like your local Fox, CBS, PBS, NBC, and ABC stations enjoy already started offering HD broadcasts in add-on to their regular channels. However for cable and satellite channel, most have not made the switch but - and you'll need to upgrade your subscription to receive those channel as well.
The difference between standard and HD is moderately startling, but right now, I wouldn't vote it's for everyone. The market is still evolving rather quickly and in that isn't a whole lot of content all the same. Don't feel you obligation to buy a new TV right away - even after 2009.
run for LCD TV with lofty definition panel with resolution not smaller amount than 1366*768 if u want to HD transmission to it
