How well to tv's tolerate heat?

Answer:
Most new technology will tolerate room temps of up to at least the high 90s.
TV's are well tested and pushed to the max. when it comes to product heat stress testing. So, no worries there. But you DO have to exercise caution if the TV is placed in close proximity to other sources of heat. eg. other electrical gadgets and/or space heaters etc. because any combo of additional heat added to the TV's heat, can be dangerous. Use common sense when setting up your TV and you'll be fine!
Most TV sets are tested for safe use up to 130-140 degrees F. If you can stay in a room that hot, you probably are more concerned about why the A/C is not working, than how well the TV is tolerating it.
