On a 50 inch Sanyo flat panel TV, would I be capable of see a difference within picture between 720p and 1080p?

I will only be using this TV for watching HD movies. Walmart is selling a 720p Sanyo for Black Friday. Just required some thoughts on if it is worth it to pony up the cash for 1080p. Again, I will with the sole purpose be using this TV for watching HD movies. Thanks.

Answers:    If by movies, you mean from a hi def DVD player, consequently you should go for 1080P. If you will be getting your movies from anywhere else, after no. The only exception would be if you intend to sit verry close to the blind. Go to a store and look at a 720P, 50" set from your normal viewing distance and look for the pixels. If you can't see them, next walk closer to the sey until you do. Then want if 1080P is worth the extra money. If you plan on getting a hi def DVD in the adjectives, then jump for the 1080P.
