Which is a better 29 inch flat CRT tv? (The SLIMMER version) LG or Samsung?

I am considering to buy a 29 inch CRT tv. But due to space constraits i cant buy the regular version and so i have to go for the slimmer version. That leaves me with 2 choices i.e LG (called as slimmagic) and samsung (called as slimfit). Which one is better out of the 2? Also my one more major concern is that are these slimmer CRT tvs equally good as the regular sized CRT tvs or is there a deterioration in their quality? Thanx all in advance.

Samsung TV is a better than LG in many respect , in quality particularly. So go for it.

i think samsung is good, i m using samsumg,its picture quality is very good.and its easy to use and trouble free
Samsung makes better tvs. WHATEVER YOU DO, do not buy an LG tv, or zenith, which is affiliated with LG, their tvs deliver poor performance and are extremely unreliable. They will give you problems and it will be like throwing money down the drain. samsung tvs aren' that bad and have decent performance and reliability. I have one.
Believe it or not, but they're probably going to be about identical. LG and Samsung both are Korean companies, and CRT technology hasn't really had many huge innovations in terms of display technology. I'd suggest going with whichever model is cheaper or whichever one you think looks the best.

Also, there's no difference in quality between flat and regular CRT monitors, so no worries about that.
what ever you do do not and i mean do not buy samsung i live in america and boghat a 15 in samsund lcd for my kitchen it worked fine untilone day the piture turned green i boght this from amazon i got a replacement and the same thing happened i have a lot of lg thigs and they are way better quility

but if i was buyin a tv i would go for a sony

Unfortunally on smaller tvs, most high end brand names sometimes use other brand tubes inside of it.

I recommend if going tube is go for Mitsubishi. They make the lonest lasting tubes and excellent picture.

u can get AKAI,BPL,Sanyo,sansui,Hundai also.
Basically ,there is no difference between flat CRT& slim CRT in display.It is a space saving device.more or less same technology is used. after some period spare parts may not be available for slim TVs.these tvs are not hugely popular in western countries.
u may also ,go for LCD Tvs.low prices are around Rs.19000/-.Videocon,samsung,lg... are available.
Well Samsung is better than Lg, but Sony is the best among all of them. Go get a Sony and enjoy the viewing.
