No , and I hope it never does, as I too watch movies on internet good isn't it .
no let hope they don't think of that one. did you know to can also buy satellite TV on your computer which does not require a TV licence only internet, it costs around £3.00 a month and you get channels from all around the world.
YES YOU DO!! anything that recieves tv has to have a licence. phone tv licence if you are worried or look on their web site
British law states that you MUST have a television licence for 'any equipment capable of receiving a television broadcast'.
That means televisions, videos, DVD recorders, PCs with TV cards, etc, etc.
You do need a licence. Anything showing TV needs a licence for it, so TV's, PC's with cards, Mobiles, Internet...
No...if you download the things is difrent..
by the way ckeck http://www.yourcanal.com there you will found many channels, from all over the world :-) for free, and you dont have to install nothing!
if it did how would anybody find out?
If you're receiving a TV signal via a USB dongle or something similar, yes, you have to have a TV license. If you're downloading TV shows and movies, you don't need one (but you're probably breaking an entirely different law).
I do not think you do, but you could contact the licencing office to be on the safe side.
