I just get a new insignia hd tv and a modern hdmi cabel. I setup the ps3 and now within is a crackling noise during loud times (someone getting tackle in madden). I go to best buy to exchange the HDMI cable but its still making the noise. it doesnt craft the noise when Im watching tv no event how loud I make it and it comes out of the right side. What do u reckon the problem is with and what should i do?

It is digital clipping, which system your input audio source is hitting signals higher than 0db. Anyway the solution is to try reducing the volume of the input source and to compensate increase your tv nouns.
If the cracking comes even in lower volumes afterwards check the speaker of your tv.

If you have a DVD player or other device that can use HDMI, try it freshly to rule out that it's not your TV's HDMI port that's at fault.
If it's not the TV, and not the cable, next it must be the PS3.
