Why alot of people prefer sharp over samsung and sony tv's?

People prefer Sharp because in Sharp TV's, a channel that is once set on, suppose No.19, caannot be repeted again on any other channel.
I don' t but I think your quesiton is incorrect. I perfer JVC but you have to be able to afford it. Consumer reports will tell you which tv is better and why.
I don't know which "alot" you're referring to. I much prefer a Sony because they are generally engineered better than Sharp. Sharp is a leader in LCD technology, but their picture processing leaves a bit to be desired, and overall flexibility and user friendliness is not quite as good as Sony. Samsungs look great, but I wouldn't own one... I don't like Korean made products, their construction practices, parts layout, and technical support aren't deserving of praise, by any means.
