Just bought a HDtv and I'm wondering what the best way to connect it up to capture the best picture. Currently I have my Virgin cable box connected to my LiteOn DVD recorder via scart and later that is connected to the telly via another scart and nearby is a small deterioration in picture standard. When I get my alien HDtv what is the best way for me to connect up these devices and retain right picture quality? Thanks.
Answers: The with the sole purpose way to win a TRUE hd picture is to use the dvi or hdmi port on the tv. Even vga results in a crap picture on some hdtv's.
You will NOT get hold of a true hd picture through a scart lead.
