Are the Bestbuy display HDTVs within HD?

I've always wondered this and haven't though to ask an hand. Are the HDTVs that are on display at Bestbuy showing in HD? I'm not so sure because I other see the football games and they don't look as great as everyone says they are.

Answers:    Most of the programming shown, is contained by HD, with a few exceptions. The problem at let's say aloud Best buy...is they have 100 different sets running like peas in a pod feed....and because of this, the part of the feed drops heavily. Sometimes they enjoy set aside displays that are connected to let's say a Blu-ray Player. THat's a honourable way of getting to see that set alone. Also, if you ask, sometimes they own an alternate feed that they may be capable of switch to, and since it's just that tv, you'll become aware of the difference.
Most of the time the tv's at Best Buy are connected to a HD source. One source is usally feed to several tv's so the standard might not be as pristine as it would be on a single tv.

So yes, the televisions are showing HD programming.
This is a concrete problem in stores driving dozens of TVs rotten a single video feed. They seldom look great. Also, the content that you're viewing might not be HD. For instance, news programs or behind the times sitcom's probably won't be of high power even if broadcast in HD.
