Where's the best place to find a cheap HDTV (either used or new)?
Answer:
I got a good 27" LCD HDTV at both Best Buy (Westinghouse LTV-27w7 HD) and Frys (Viewsonic n2750w). Since you want a HDTV for cheap you will most likely be getting either an LCD or a CRT TV. CRT HDTVs are really heavy (over 100lbs) so an LCD is probably the better choice. Being able to compare amongst the TVs is important so you should visit electronics stores with a lot of TVs on display.
try walmart
IF you want cheap then try walmart or target you may get a better quality brand at best buy but it will cost you.
I got a name brand HDTV at Wal Mart for a very reasonable price. About 500 less than I would have paid at Best Buy or Circuit City
Look in the paper for public auctions and go. You can get anything form furniture, electronics to antiques at a fraction of the price.
I don't know about in the US but here in the UK I remember Argos had an offer on, a pretty large HD tv for 400 pounds (about 800 dollars) which is pretty cheap considering most HD tvs are selling for about 1000 pounds (2000 dollars).

Then go to the city where you are.
ebay sometimes has good buys as well and I've had really good luck buying things on sale at Target and Wallmart (online and in the store). If you go to Target, look at the end of the aisles. Sometimes that's where you'll find their best markdowns.
Happy tubing.
