Will Apple TV work withmy CRT TV?
Answer:
Apple TV does HDMI and Component video. Your TV probably does not have compontent inputs. You can check the back of your TV. Component has three RCAs colored red, blue and green (in addition to sound).
NO.
AppleTv only connects using a HDMI connection (digital), or a component video connection (analog).
You can however buy an iPod docking station that supports video. These usually sell for around $100, and connect to your TV via composite a/v (red, white, yellow), or s-video.
You take your iPod that can hold video, dock it, and tune your TV to the right input- done. The only catch to this way of doing things is that it requires a video enabled iPod.
People also accomplish a similar feat by using an Xbox360 with Windows Media Center to watch files on the PC on the TV via a wired or wireless network...
It is unlikley because you need a component video input on the TV to make it work, some of the newer CRT tv's do have a component input but most of them don't so i wouldn't risk it.
