Why do i have an unusable digital signal?

It works fine in analog but when i plug it into the digital input i get the message "Unusable Signal". Any suggestions?

Answer:
I'll bet your ANALOG signal is REAL NOISY.

Which means the Digital signal is just as bad.

FIRST, if you don't already have one.Go to RADIO SHACK and purchase a 20 DB RF amplifier.the one that is in a Solid Metal Chassis (not the cheap plastic ones)...That will boost your Signal and hopefully high enough to activate the Digital tuner.

Now, if that doesn't work, tune the antenna by moving it..USE the Analog TV stations as your TEST PICTURE, so you can minimize the snow on it while moving your antenna.

IF THAT doesn't cut the mustard, then go back to Radio Shack and buy an outdoor/roof antenna..An 8-bay bowtie will recieve signals in all directions, and a YAGI antenna will reduce ghosting on the Analog-only stations.Digital doesn't suffer from ghosts, but it can suffer from Multipath signals -- another name for ghosts.
