hi can anyone help i have a silver ntl box and it has now updated its self to virgin but the remote wont work?? if i buy a new black virgin remote will it work with the old box? sick of waiting 4 ntl/ virgin to sort it out thanks

Why buy the control?
If you are renting from NTL/Virgin then contact their service, thats what you pay for.
I had trouble with getting on line broadband, kept having to reboot set top box.
I called Virgin and next day had new set top box and neew control. all free
