I'm miserable near the imitation on my unusual HD TV. Do you come up with it would support if I read the almanac?

I bought a 32" Polaroid HD TV. The images look fuzzy and the skin tone on the face looks plastic. However, it looks pretty good when I put contained by a DVD like Matrix Revolutions. Is in that anything I can do to make the non-HD cable TV signal look better?
