Answer:
You are ruining your tv by playing for extended periods of time. Take a break every couple hours and put up a picture that doesn't have any stills like your health info etc. Check to see what features your tv has for screen burn protection. Go in the menu and look for pixel shift put it on 2, 2, and 2. You'll know what this means if you find it. Also your tv may have a signal pattern. Run that for a few hours. It is just a constantly moving image that refreshes the whole screen. A 24 hour loop is just something that will constantly play like the signal pattern.
I have always heard that that can happen, but the attached article says that it is only temporary. I would still try to alter where the health bubble sits. I know in some video games you can configure the screen and move the health down to the bottom of the display.
Plasma has way too many issues for the length of time it's been on the market. You get colored pixels showing up after 2-3 years, & convergence problems & burn in, to name a few. Sony got out of the plasma & DLP technology a while ago, because they knew the future for now was in LCD. I have A Sony 42" LCD HDTV ( with fully integrated built-in HD tuner) Grand Wega. The newer one, the Bravia, has 2 HDMI in-puts & 2 USB ports, so you can hook your pc up to it.
