I have tried hot batteries, bright remotes, and several different universal remote sensors. I even purchased a investigational remote from toshiba for the set. My problem is that the TV is skipping channel 3 that's the simply channel that will work beside cable. Because the remote signal is not being picked up by the sensor surrounded by the set itself, I cannot access the channel screening so that I cannot stop in furrow 3. I am considering buying a new set, but that's a extreme step considering the only point wrong with the set is that it won't stop on rut 3. Is there something else that can be done? Sincerely, Dianne
Answers: Wait something not right. If your remote or TV IR sensor out of order this will not cause individual ch 3 skip but rather adjectives function will not working that involving remote. If the problem merely CH 3 skip maybe there's something wrong near the setting. Maybe something wrong with your cable signal.
