It has happened for the last week? It continues to add non english info to this black box that pops up. If i restart the tv it goes away only to reappear a few minutes later. This does not happen to any of my other tvs connected to my cable. What do i do to fix this?

Check to be sure it's not the closed captioning set in a different language
it sounds like your closed captioning is on. It might be in another language, either Chinese or Japanese. Another thing it could be in "demo mode" and being made in Japan might default to Japanese. Go through your setting and make sure that the closed captioning isn't on and that the TV isn't in Demo mode.
