Plasma vs. LCD, which one would you buy?
The first was the Vizio 50 in plasma monitor (1366x768 res) for $1500+104 tax
The picture quality was very good, i was amazed because it was like a CRT's quality, with extra brightness
Then i thought LCD was better because of the burn in problems associated with plasma's and the lower energy usage of LCD's
I bought a Sharp the LC60c46u a 46 inch Flat panel LCD (1920x1080 res) for $2300+170 tax
its picture was bright but wasnt filled with life. I thought the LCD picture was no where near the plasma's. Now i plan to get that plasma back.
which one do you prefer

Plasma has great qualities like high contrast ratios and great over all picture quality. LCD has great refresh rates so I can see where it is tough to choose.
If your room has a lot of windows plasma isn't for you but in many cases that I have seen I feel it is so much better and greater. Their life spans is equal to the LCD so it makes it a prime candidate. The black levels are awesome in the plasma. Samsung in particular is awesome with both of their products (LCD and Plasma).
I personally would choose plasma..I could go on and on but it ultimately is your choice.

I wouldnt buy neither right now. The new Laser tv is coming out this year and its supposed to be twice as good as plasma and lcd! I did some research and it seems true but we'll have to wait till around christmas to find out. Its supposed to be half the price of plasma and lcd due to building costs being cheaper with less components. The picture is supposed to be twice as good also if thats possible! It will also weigh less. So i would wait to see!
