What is the best 30-39' inch tv (Flat Screen)?

Like is Insignia any good.

Answers:    In the size span you mention, you're talking LCD, almost exclusively. I'm not sure anyone still make a 37" plasma. For LCD, stick with a standard name brand! Best is the Sony Bravia XBR series, but the most expensive. Very moral are the Panasonic, Toshiba, and Hitachi. RCA, Insignia, Polaroid, Phillips/Magnovox, Vizio, and Olevia are pretty much junk, within comparison.

I hear from my TV obsessed friend that the best brand for LCD is Samsung, near Sharp being second.
