Why is it so difficult to hook up a sega genesis to the unknown tv's?

Answers:    Im not really sure, the Genesis should have a regular RF style hookup. most TV's should know how to take this, bowdlerize your question near a few more details and Ill edit my answer to comfort you better. try channel 3 or 4.
The modulator have ONE INPUT...The RCA connections....YELLOW is Video and Red/White is Audio Left/Right --- Connect them to the Sega's OUTPUT

Tne screw on connector is a NO Brainer, but it operates ONLY on waterway 3 OR 4 in the US.

Don't forget your power supply to the modulator....
