I am buying a NTSC Region:0 DVD off Ebay, which should be fine for my DVD player, and the seller has told me that all UK TVs these days play NTSC formats. HOWEVER, my TV is a portable Goodman's model bought in 2000.so I am thinking it won't work. Can anyone with tech knowledge on this help me here please? I don't want to spend money on any converters or additional equipment, and I really wanna see this film!
Answer:
MOST TVs now will accept an NTSC signal but the only way you're going to find out if yours will is to either try it or look up the documentation.
