Sky Interference - slight wave lines?
But, when I turn the video 'on' these lines disapear.
(The video is also conected via a scart)
I believe it could be some kind of static effect which the land lead from the video must be grounding, the sky box does not own a earth conection , lone live and neutral) what do you think ? Is near an easy road to ground the static T.V.I. from the sky box?(if thats what it is)
Answers: Static is caused by lightning/electrical storms and it doesn't produce lines, curvilinear or otherwise.
Static or other impulse hullabaloo will produce black dots on your picture if you are in the 'States, or white ones if you are within the U.K., and short bursts of crackling noise surrounded by the audio.
I suggest that the interference you are experiencing is co-channel or nearby ditch interference.
A t.v. antenna installer should be able to advocate you.
.
It might be electrical inference:
Turn off adjectives electrical devices except the TV, if it doesn’t have them, later its something in the room and turn respectively one on to see what it is and move it away
