I hold just this minute bought a 32" Philips flatscreen LCD tv. The picure talent doesn't give the impression of being that great especially
Answers: Bummer....you're looking at the Low Definition TV signals on a HI Definition TV set....
There is nothing you can do to bring back to look like it did at the store, short of buying the HD Skybox....
You'll plausible need to upgrade the picture point of what's coming in. If you enjoy standard definition TV (coming in from a ashen, red and white cables from a cable box, or straight from the wall to your TV), the picture won't be great.
What you entail is to talk to your TV provider (Sky TV?) and catch an upgraded cable box or receiver box that have an HDMI (high definition) output. Your picture should be much clearer.
You might also try messing with your TV, and seeing if it's able of receiving a standard definition format and interpolating it (guessing what it should look like) to a giant definition format. It may not be great, but it doesn't cost you any more and might help.
HDTV's close to yours are made for digital and high definition broadcasts (high trait sources). Sounds like you own only analog service. The picture power from basic cable or satellite will ALWAYS look resembling crap on a HDTV. In order to filch advantage of your trial tv you will need to suscribe to HD service or enjoy an antenna that allows for over the air (free) HD.
