If the service menu is of no help, how does a technician fix geometry problems on a television?

I have a crt hdtv with noticeable geometry distortions. I have tried everything in the service menu to fix them, but nothing has worked.

Assuming the problems are fixable and the service menu is of no help, what would a technician do to correct them? And is it practical to consider having this work done? Thanks.

Answer:
They can always replace the video board and see if that helps.
Whats the make and Model number of the unit? And a detailed description on what the picture looks like.
