Are video game consols bad for plasma tv's?

I heard that playing too much video games on plasma tv's can be bad for them.
What do you think??

Answer:
They can ruin the old CRT rear projection TVs. As far as current technology, it will not damage LCD, plasma, dlp TV's. These are optimized for fast moving pictures.

One thing you don't want to do is play the same game for extended periods of time because you will get burn-in. Such as playing Madden football 12 hours every day.
no, video games are always good, unless they are PS3's then they will ruin your plasma TV and kill your parents, then strangle your dog, and burn your house down
really? didn't know that
Well, HD consoles (like the XBox and its 360, along with the PS3) fit plasma TVs.

It's LCD TVs that deal damage.
No, but as with most TV's of this type and rear projections, the more you use it, the shorter the life. The games play using all colors, and running if quick motion overlap, this always causes strain. But the picture and clarity is awesome for the games.
