Okay Friday we had a 12+ power outage because of a storm resourcefully when the power final came hindmost on we rushed to our eletric devices (I.E the Computer and the TV) and my dad turned on the tv and after like 5 minutes it shut bad like the power go out again except everything else was on. We be thinking maybe it be the power cord but I took the power cord out and put it back surrounded by today at like 10:00 and the Tv still wouldn't turn on
Answers: You any LOST your power regulator in the power supply or you LOST your Horizontal Drive, which would contribute you a black picture WITH sound still working ok......
Time for a service Tech to fix this TV set....
It sounds approaching you guys experienced a power surge. Was your tv plugged into a surge protector? Well, its time to get a latest tv anyway.
