Is nearby a difference between 720p and 1920x1080i resolution? my tv be advertise as 720p, but when i press?

the info button, it says my tv's resolution is 1920x1080i. I am using a hdmi cable. Please, improve me!


Answers:    The resolution of the TV isc determined byb the number of pixels on the screen. For a eyeshade with 1280 X 720 pixels, it will be referred to as a 720P set. The otherv resolution associated beside TVs, is the resolution of the various signals it can adopt and display. When you press the info button and it tells you 1920 X 1080i, specifically the kind of signal that you're set-up to receive. Your set will convert that signal to , what is call your set's native resolution (1280 X 720) for viewing.
The SIGNAL is 1920 x 1080....
Your TV is still a 720P TV set, so it downconverts the 1080 signal into a 720P signal....
