Is there a way to have cable in two rooms without having it installed in both rooms?

I have cable in my living room and I want the same good reception in my bedroom. Is there a box or something I can buy at an electronics store to get cable reception in my bedroom?

Answer:
you can get a splitter to run the cable from the wall to both places. You can generally take the cable cord directly into the tv even without a box - but you may lose some movie channels in the bedroom
You can buy a splitter at Radio Shack and then just run a cble to the other room.

We did that and it works fine.
i don't know... sorry
All you need is a 99 cent spliter!!
find out the distance between the two rooms, going around corners and other things, then go to radio shack(or elsewhere) and buy the coax cable that gives you the length required. you also need to buy the shortest length available. now, you have to buy a "2 way" splitter. if you dont get the 2 way, your channels will be messed up. now take the 2 way and attatch the incoming cable to the "in" slot. next, take the short length and run that to your tv(or cable box) in from the #1 output of the splitter, and run the #2 output to your other room. the problem with this setup is that you will not get the channels that require a box(such as movie channels), but you will get all the basics for a good deal less than what it would cost to have someone come to your house.
