i own been audible range that if the tvs are ddigital your fine but if they are analog your not fine.
so can anyone clear this subject up for me?
Answers: No you don't have to buy bright TVs. The big change over contained by 2009 only applies to broadcast (free TV over the air), it doesn't apply to cable or satellite.
Even if you get your TV over-the-air (OTA), you wouldn't need to buy trial TVs, but you would need to buy a cheap converter box that go between the TV antenna and the TV.
Digital TV signals can be cheaply converted to analog ones. Cable & satellite companies generally transport care of this for their customers, it's merely people who gain their TV with an antenna that requirement to do anything.
If you use over the air TV as a backup during cable outages, you might want to buy one of the cheap OTA converter boxes.
Many cable systems are varying their systems such that customers with analog TVs will inevitability to use cable boxes. These changes are not tied to the 2009 date and are driven by the economics of cable company.
economically lets seee..... dose ur tv hold and blue red and green inputs on the back .. if it dose consequently ur tv is digital look for blue or green . but if don't don't worry that imperative is only for over the upper air antennas ( rabit ear and so on) the only entry u might need is a cable box ,but ur cable company should administer it to u when that time comes around . hope that helped
