I'm struggling with dish network. I really want the HD/DVR receiver for free. New customers can get it for FREE, but since I've been with them for several years I have to pay $150. Can anyone please help me? Thanks in advance.

call and say you want to cancel your service. they have retention specialists that will take over and try to get you to stay.
Threaten to switch to DirectTV or the local cable company. Like the other guy said, they will do what it takes to retain you as a customer, especially if you have been buying the big $ packages or PPV. Let them know of your PPV history to help matters. This tactic also works when they try to sneak in that rate hike on you.
It's terrible business that a company can't show loyality to their loyal customers, but it just takes a little working of their jacked up business practices to get what you want, and you will indeed!
