Why can't I get channel 5,?
Answer:
Try going to the Setup Menu and looking for update.
Somewhere in the settings you will have the option to Auto Update the channels that you have. This will search out any you have missing or any that have moved. Just resetting may not work.
I live in the USA but I'm thinking that somehow you
deleted the station from the box.. why don't you reset
the box...
It should be available on Freeview, I would contact the manufacturers.

Is the aerial an upgrade or your old existing analogue aerial - you may need a wideband high gain aerial - you can get some channels using a normal aerial but not reliably! Channel 5 is notorious forhaving a bad signal.
OR you could try to retune - just let it search and store
i can only get it through a digibox, even then it goes off from time to time. according to the ariel engineer channel 5 works on a different signal frequency to other channels as it was cheaper when they first started broadcasting
