47LG70 vs Philips 47PFL7403D?
Finally came the hour when I decided to progress TV shopping and I have been doing greatly of research rather than just going to blog sites and forums looking for an answer. And trust me, if you can do admin b/w $1500-1800, I strongly recommend one of these two, but I am at a fork road where I have to choose one (would've tried both but I'm a one-TV entity!)
The LG 70 Series:47LG70 vs The Philips 7400 Series: 47PFL7403D
The obvious similarities are the 47" screen size, 120 Hz display, power consumption, brightness etc... Here's a correlation to the specs for each:

Can someone (preferably those who own one of the two or have experienced both outside of a store, but be aware of free to practice freedom of speech) give some insight on which would be a better choice and why?

Answers: GO WITH THE LG.SOME PHILIPS MODELS SEEM TO HAVE PROBLEM ISSUES RIGHT AWAY WITHIN THE FIRST YEAR OF SERVICE.
