What is prevented when a lcd tv doesn't include a tv tuner?

I'm looking to purchase an lcd tv, but in red bold junk mail on the website in mentions that: "Note: Tuner Not Included". What does this connote?


Answers:    This means you should enjoy EITHER a Cable box, a Satellite box or a VCR that has a working tuner contained by it.....

Or you can get something close to a Samsung ATSC terrestrial reciever so you can delight in your local TV stations in HD....
mean's dont buy it, it be built for computers.
