On a serious note this is not a common fault.one of two things.
1. it's faulty
2. Your neighbour has the same tv therefore same remote therefore playing with your mind.

Get it checked out - may be faulty component.
It should not be the next door neighbours remote as they are infra red which require line of sight. Are you by any chance using another remote when it happens such as Sky, Cable or a Freeview box. My sister had a Phillips Freeview box and every time she changed channels her CD player came on. Other than that I think it has to be a fault in the TV itself. If it's under warranty take it back. Hope this helps.
Its has a screen saver to protect the screen from images being burnt into it.
