What's a well brought-up LCD HDTV brand?

I'm planning on buying 2 TV within the subsequent couple of months. I did a lot of research but I want people's recommendation. I'm looking for 1 small TV ( 20 to 24 inch) and one big one (27 to 32 inch) at a reasonable price, between $500 to $1000. I'm NOT planning to buy any Westinghouse TV. Bought one a few weeks ago but have to return it because the audio didn't sync with the video, plan the sound padding behind by 2 second to the picture, which go greatly annoying. There was some impossible reviews on Westinghouse tvs and a few people have the same problem that I did. Any suitable brands besides Westinghouse?

Answers:    AVOID Westinghouse, ILO, VIZIO, Polaroid, OLEVIA, and ANY BRAND NAME that is NEW.....(just appeared on the marketplace in the second 5 years)

Sure they are cheap, but NO PARTS to repair them at all...

You really want a brand that have been out in attendance for 15 years or more....
They are servicable, and have better technology designed into them.
They are WORTH the money.

SONY is the BEST LCD you can go and get, but Toshiba, Hitachi and Samsung do make RELIABLE TVs too....
phillips
Weve purchased around 3 Westinghouse tv's and no problems whatsoever. The picture is a great quality, and nouns worked great.
Sony and Sharp are the two names specified for the best image level for displays, and I would pick Samsung, Panasonic, or LG over Phillips and Toshiba.
Last month i need to buy a tv, i spend much time inquiring on line. I hold found a 20 inch Panasonic tv,

But i think it is too small..
I bought a Samsung 32 inch LCD HDTV at finishing. Just installed this TV in my bedroom and its attractive! I'm more than happy beside my purchase. I read many apt reviews and they were adjectives correct. Many mentioned the sound be poor, but I can't agree with that. Maybe its because I be used to something that was truly poor, but (while I do realise the nouns in other tv's will be superior) I can't see any problems next to this models sound. I bought it for $849 instead of $978. It is still on public sale now. If you are intersted contained by this one, here is the link to the buy and sell i found.

Hope this helps.
You can't jump wrong with SONY, No1 sale still worldwide. Very reliable! And with their topical Motion Flow Technology to make movement smoother, they look fantastic.

Then I'd put SAMSUNG a close second.

Samsung generate the panel for Sony LCDs anyway, so along with their bright screen, great viewing angles, high contrasts, and stylish looks, they too own a great product!

Sometimes it just comes down to which one you have an idea that looks the best, picture wise or design astute??

So hard to articulate which is better, but I would personally buy surrounded by this order: SONY, SAMSUNG, PANASONIC, SHARP

All the best.
i would utter go for the SONY LCD HDTV it enjoy great picture
quality
LOL! Always stick next to the corporate brand, darling! (Sony, Toshiba, Magnavox, Sharp, Panasonic, etc)
