I'm considering a flat panel TV by a manufacturer called "Pro-scan". Ever heard of them? Comments?

it's a 20" flat panel hdtv that costs only 379.99 in the box. has remote and room for a/v system, dvd, and a tivo. it has a rectangular screen, but not quite 16:9; it's more like 16:12. the pic is not as sharp, but still pretty good. but I've never heard of them, and am weary of purchasing it because of the price. I have only seen them at military and VA stores.

Answer:
they are a cheap brand of TV.everyone i ever dealt with had something wrong with in the first year. no volume/ tuner shot/ you name it ...there are few rare times when they last longer.if you buy a tv cheap u get a cheap tv.
Its cheap for a reason. Usually there are no support and parts after the first year. Just junk, same with Samsung and Phillips garbage.

For that small of TV, I would HIGHLY recommend the Toshiba Series LCD.

Qualiy Cost.
It is manufactured by Ge for RCA.

Really
Crappy
Appliances.

Buy at own risk!
