Sharp Aquos vs. Texas Instruments DLP?
Answers: these are two different types of tvs. sharp aquos is a lcd flat panel. and dlp is a rear projection. texas instruments doesnt product there own tvs. they invented the dlp technology, tv maker put the dlp engines in in that own tvs. there can be varying degree of quality within the dlp catagory. you can have a excellent characteristic samsung or toshiba dlp caompared to a low end rca dlp, the part difference is very distinguishable, but both technologies own pros and cons. but of these two i would reccomend a lcd flat panel. the dlps have great pictures and big screen at a lower cost. but they use lamps that blow out over time and obligation to be replaced every 5-10 years, newer model use led lighting witch is a better alternative to the hide lamps. they also enjoy a limited viewing angle, if you bring back off to the side of the picture too much you lose the characteristic of the picture and at the extreme amgles you lose the picture all to gether. you do not enjoy these problems with the lcd flat panel. in comparison to lcds i would reccomend a plasma tv. they produce a more colorfull and crude picture over lcds. they have like life span as a lcd, and enjoy a better viewing angle over lcds. if you go that route i would reccomend a panasonic , pioneer or samsung plasma. but any agency for your question i articulate sharp lcd. good luck
Sharp Aquos is flawless. As far as I reviewed sharp is rated apt when compared to Texas Inst. Picture quality is really angelic in Sharp. But I dint buy it instead I bought a Sony Bravia.
