HD tv Question?

I have a samsung LCD flat peak tv
I got it around 5 months ago
My gf dad got a HD tv today
He autoprograms it and get some extra channels
The channel was contained by the 100s but had dash like
100-1
And they be in HD looked correct
I went home autoprogramed mine.
Nothing passed 99
and no bustle channels.
I havd a dart on my remote but it doesnt show on my tv
I am going to get HD added to my cable but is here anyway i can get these extra channel maybe my settings are wrong i dont know.
Any lend a hand is appreciated thanks.


Answers:    Those are QAM channel. You need to achieve a

"ATSC / QAM / NTSC" tuner in demand to get adjectives analog and digital channels your cable provider have for free. (you still need the rough subscription)

Those channels 100-1 + are digital. Usually you hold to pay for them. They are like peas in a pod channels as if you be too look up the listings for your area's digital channels but the numbers are different because next to the digital tuner you get them for free.

The tuners are not that expensive. And since you hold an HDTV I suggest you go to the store and catch one. ^_^
You need the HD added. It take a special box to decode the HD frequency for the channel. I learned that the complicated way.
