When an electronic appliance is 'made in china' are all the components built there too?

Answer:
I imagine like many companies, half of the components are shipped in - just as we ship in foreign parts for our devices, I bet half or even a better part of the components came from US and then are assembled cheaper overseas- yet why! I remeber one electronic I bought once actually stated "MADE IN CHINA OF AMERICAN MADE PRODUCTS"
We pay all of these shipping and trade costs, why not just keep it all MADE IN AMERICA?? < I guess that is a whole other question for answers- right (lol) ..?>
no..

chances are it was assembled there, i'm thinking parts came from all over the world and just came to gether in China..
"Made in China" means the finished product was assembled in China. It doesn't mean that the parts were manufactured in China.
it probably was all made in china everything you could think of is made in china. Be American buy American
